A Brief Outline of His Teaching Experience

I am a graduate and a CELTA qualified English Language Teacher with experience of teaching English to multi-lingual and monolingual classes. My employment experience covers teaching to both adults and younger learners. Additionally, I have solid experience of teaching students on an individual basis as well as in small groups.

I have also taught Economics, Business Communication, Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour, amongst other subjects to do with Business Management. These subjects where taught on ABE fast track entry courses, to enable students to get onto BA degree programmes, at universities in the UK. I have also designed tailor-made courses for executives and professionals wanting to learn "Business English" and students choosing to learn "General English".

I have extensive experience of teaching English at summer schools in the UK. This has involved the designing of two-week English Language learning programmes, for teenage Italian students on study holidays, in the UK. I have also taught students from many other parts of the world, who have travelled to the UK to learn and improve their English. Course design for multi -lingual students, of different nationalities and cultures is also a speciality of mine.

Management experience in Education includes working as a Senior Teacher, Assistant Course Director and Course Director at language schools in the UK. Personal experience as an ACD and Course Director covers delivering professional development seminars for teachers, assisting teachers with their lesson planning and training temporary agency teachers, to coach teenage students for their Trinity Speaking Exams.

Experience as a Corporate Trainer in Business English includes teaching managers and executives at TESCO, KPMG Accountants and Inditex, amongst other corporate clients as well. Teaching experience also covers, giving Business English instruction to students regarding BULATS examinations and training an English Teacher in Bangkok from the UK, via a video conferencing system, about corporate curriculum implementation. I have also delivered a teacher training seminar, to teachers of different nationalities working for Cactus Language Training, on how to stage certain types of lessons.

I have a solid record of teaching students studying for their Trinity Speaking Exams (GESE), where a 100% pass rate has been achieved, along with many of  these students obtaining outstanding results.

I live in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire and can give lessons to students in my home. I am also prepared to teach students at various locations in London and Hertfordshire.
